Harrisville School is a rural primary school located just outside Tuakau , south of Auckland.

Harrisville School opened in 1877 as a typical single-roomed New Zealand  country school. The School house, which still provides accommodation for staff, was built a few years later in 1882.

133 Years on our school is quite a bit larger; 10 classrooms, 12 staff, teacher aides, a grounds man and naturally our children, more than 200 of the little stars!

Some things however haven't changed that much. We still value each child as an individual with strengths and challenges of their own. Our school is big enough to make a difference, and small enough to care.

We have swimming sports, galas. school productions and of course, Country Pet Day.
We hope you enjoy your visit with us whether in the 'virtual' or real world.
