Our school is one of those practising sustainability, with pupil-inspired, green areas, edible gardens, modern facilities and a recycling ethos. We have two purpose-built technology rooms attached to the school. These service many urban and rural schools from the Wanganui area. |

Gonville School is over 100 years old, with its centenary having been held in 2006.
Gonville is located about 500 metres from the Wanganui Hospital and is close to a variety of amenities.
We cater for children from Year 1 to Year 6.
Our acting Principal, Mr Greg Elgar, has been with us at Gonville School since 1996; mostly as Deputy Principal.
FROG stands for 'Friends of Gonville School' and the school's parent/teacher collective have adopted this term.
Our school role models are awarded 'FROG' staus, which is an expansion of the idea. Our first set of FROGs are shown to the left.
