Gonville School is over 100 years old, with its centenary having been held in 2006.
Gonville is located about 500 metres from the Wanganui Hospital and is close to a variety of amenities.
We cater for children from Year 1 to Year 6.
Our new Principal, Mr Grant Manley, joined us from Auckland. He has noticed the change of pace and is fully immersed in the school's and the local community's life.
Mr Manley is taking on the role as Gonville School's figurehead with commitment and enthusiasm and has the staff's full support. It has been a seamless transition since Mr Whiteside retired at the end of Term 2.
