After choosing the educational purpose of their wikis participants then planned and set up a wiki for their own schools. Issues relating to school policies/cybersafety were discussed then resources and models shared. In addition, class based wikis were planned and created that lead teachers could use as a model for colleagues. Participants were shown a range of tools that would enhance their wikis including using tables, inserting links, inserting files, inserting images, using educational widgets and inserting slideshows. Connections to the Digital Literacy -using still images practicum were made with participants been shown how to embed digital texts into a wiki. They were also directed to support material on the cluster wiki. At the end of the session participants shared their wikis and added links to them, to a links page on the cluster wiki then reflected on future uses.
