Christine Buchanan of Queenstown finished and outstanding season by winning the Women's Champion Singles from Gill Stewart of Cromwell.

Simon Nyhof of Hawea successfully defended his Title and attained his Gold Star in winning the Men's event from Bill Clements of Alexandra.

Although there was a blustery wind throughout the day, the many spectators were treated to some outstanding play.
