We hope this information will be of use to you. It has been prepared to inform parents of children attending Mangaorapa School, or who may do so in the future.

Mangaorapa School is based in a rural community in Central Hawke's Bay.  Our roll is currently 19 and we have dropped back to a sole charge school this year, although we also have a Principal Release Teacher one and a half days a week, a beginning teacher one day a week, an Office Administrator, and a Part Time Te Reo Teacher.  Our school community is a mix of families from Mangaorapa and surrounding districts.  Many families are involved in farming activities.

The school is situated on a very attractive site with large playing areas.

We have a wide range of ages within our school and our classes run from Year 1 to Year 8.
