At Milton kindergarten we currently offer zero fees for all children 2 and above. This means that no child is charged for attending our kindergarten.
Milton Kindergarten is located at the end of Coronation Court adjacent to Milton Primary School. The district has three primary schools, a high school, rugby, golf, squash, and bowling clubs. Community organisations include Rotary Lions, Plunket, Business and Professional Women, Country Women's Institute as well as a good level of medical services.
Milton services a rich farming area and numerous primary industries. We are located 40 minutes south of Dunedin.
Milton Kindergarten delivers educational programmes to 2-5 year olds. Children's skills are extended through our curriculum document "Te Whāriki" with the aim to - "assist all children to grow up as competent and confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society."
Quality in action - this is achieved by facilitating children to empower themselves, learning and growing through planned experience provided in all learning areas of the curriculum. We are accessible to all and value and recognise all cultures and encourage equal participation from whãnau, parents and families.
We are a Kindergarten which operates a 6 hour School Day Option. Milton Kindergarten is the newest of our three Kindergartens and was opened in 1995 By Suzy Cato.
