Pricing and 'share of voice' (why give more)
There are two advertising banner positions on each site; a square banner sized
160x160 pixels on the bottom left, and a tower banner sized 160x600 on the
right.

It's very affordable to place a message or advert:
| Price (2 months) |
Tower Banner |
Square Banner |
| Sports club / school website |
$295 |
$195 |
| Team / classroom website |
$95 |
$75 |
Prices exclude GST (if applicable)
Plus, the more you spend, the more your message or advert is seen. If more than
one person chooses the same banner position, their messages or adverts will
rotate in proportion to the amount they paid. This method is fair and helps
raise as many funds as possible for this good cause.
Placing a message or advert (patent pending)
Once the fundraising campaign for a site has been activated, each of the two
advertising banner positions on the site will display the message 'Your message
or advert here. Only $xx for two months'. A link exists that allows a supporter
to submit a message or advert online for placement into an advertising banner
position, following these simple steps:
Step 1 – Create
There are three ways to create a message or advert to appear in a banner
position:
(a) You can type a message directly into the screen and the text will
automatically appear in the banner position;
(b) You can create artwork as a JPG, GIF or SWF (flash) file on your computer
and then upload the artwork to a banner position;
(c) You can ask a designer to create artwork for you.
OPTION A - Textual message
Type your message and click ‘Preview’. Check your message in the banner (or
square) on the same page. If satisfactory, click ‘Confirm’. Alternatively, you
can upload banner artwork (see later in this section).

Note that if you provide your e-mail address when you place your message or
advert, you will be e-mailed a receipt and a link that you can click on to
change your message or advert as often as you like. This is great if you'd like
to simply update a message of support, or announce weekly or monthly specials or
promotions for your business. Each time you change your message or advert, it
will be reviewed before it is displayed live, to ensure it complies with the
advertising code of conduct.
OPTION B - upload banner artwork from your computer
Click on ‘Upload an image instead’. An upload screen appears. Browse your
computer to select a JPG, GIF or SWF file (max size for swf files is 30kb). The
banner dimensions are 160x160 pixels for the square banner and 160x600 pixels
for the tower banner. If you upload a JPG or GIF of different dimensions, your
image will automatically be resized.

OPTION C - have a designer contact you
For a small fee, a designer can create an advertisement for you. Click on
‘Contact me to make a custom advert for me’. Provide your details on the contact
form. Click the ‘Confirm’ button. A designer will contact you.

Step 2 – Confirm
Enter a name and email address for a receipt; the amount you wish to pay for
your message or advert (a minimum amount is stated), and a web address if you
wish your banner to link to an external website.
Select a method of payment from the ‘Payment method’ list and tick the check box
to confirm you
have read and accepted the advertising terms and conditions. Click ‘Continue’
and follow the onscreen instructions for the payment method you have chosen.

Step 3 – Payment and approval
Payment can be made immediately online by credit card, or by bank deposit or by
posting a cheque.
Once your payment has been received (immediately for credit cards, and after
manual confirmation for bank deposit and cheque payments) your message or advert
will be previewed by the Editor for the site and posted live as soon as it is
approved.
Changing a message or advert
If you submit your email address when you place a message or advert, you are
emailed a link that allows you to change or delete your message or advert as
many times as you like throughout the duration of your advertising at no extra
cost. This is
great if you'd like to simply update a message of support, or announce weekly or
monthly specials or promotions for your business.
Note that each time you change your message or advert, it will be reviewed
before it is displayed live, to ensure it complies with the advertising code of
conduct.
Message or advert preview / approval process
Whenever a new message or advert is placed into an advertising banner position
on a site, each editor for the sports organisation, club or school the site is
associated with, will automatically receive an email that allows the message or
advert to be previewed to confirm its content is acceptable before it is
displayed live. This ensures each message or advert complies with the
advertising code of conduct.
