Environment Canterbury (ECAN) controls the river fringes, beaches & other reserves in Canterbury. One of the many areas under development at present is close to urban Rangiora & is a great asset for the community. Part of the development is a cycling & walking track which weaves its way from abeam Rangiora Racecourse downstream past the Ashley Rail Brigde & through an area of pine forest. The map on this page shows the pine area east of the Rail Bridge where the Club will be doing most of our track building & maintenance. Jamie's GPS lines on the
map are indicative only.
The Club is directly involoved in develpment & maintenance of the track & holds occasional working bees.
