FANCY DRESS (Biennial)
This is a long and proud tradition and is a wonderful school and community evening. Every class performs a variety of dances – sometimes involving spectators as well. Children look forward to this with much anticipation and excitement.
RANGITOTO LAMB AND CALF DAY
This has been running for over 50 years and is a proud rural tradition shared between Norsewood, Ormondville and Takapau. Children have the opportunity to show their pet livestock in wool, meat, dairy, beef or leading classes. These are judged by A.M.P. judges or stock agents who take their job very seriously, encouraging all children to care for their animals whilst recognizing those who have achieved high standards.
CHB CHOIR FESTIVAL
Takapau School children have the opportunity every 2 years to be part of our choir which performs in this CHB event.
NGATI WHAI FESTIVAL
